OK, this was one of my patterns i did for class and this one in particular was done after i knew the ropes of illustrator, well most of the BASIC ropes of it anyways. For this one i believe i used the letter S in a fancy font and then i stretched out the corners, after that i reverse so i looked a christian symbol of the little fish people put on cars and things. in addition to this i copied it and arranged it in the shape desired and copied it again and so on....
